What We Can Do For You

The Supervision Process

Whether you are already employed as a mental health professional looking to expand your credentials or if you are ready to graduate from your clinical program in the mental health profession, it’s time to start thinking about your own clinical supervision.

Cost

Before you begin your “LPC Associate” journey, I can offer advice: you may want to consider working for an agency.

Many agencies may provide your clinical supervision at no cost. However, most LPC-Associates have to pay for supervision on their own.

If you are paying out of pocket, you should expect to pay whatever a typical clinical hour costs in your area.

Supervison Agreement

Supervision is defined as a formal process. Supervision is a relationship between a supervisor and a supervisee that is contractual in nature. When supervision occurs outside of the university, designated members of the profession provide supervision.
Supervisors are individuals who are appropriately degreed, credentialed, experienced, and licensed. Supervisors provide leadership, mentorship, and directional support to individuals who desire entry into the profession of counseling (Roberts & Morotti, 2001)
